So... I'm all moved in to the new house and haven't been updating this diary because I have no internet connection. I also have no cable.
Can you say withdrawls?!
The jokers at Comc@st have the cable run to the house but claim that they can't hook it up for at least another 4-5 weeks. Ugh! I could use a crappy free dialup service but I have no landline phone. Why? Because I'd be getting my tv and internet via cable so I could use my cell for everything else. It sounds good on paper, but if those jokers don't get their act together I may have to get the dish and pay $46/mo for a phone I won't use to get free, crappy dial up and dish.
I only own a handful of non-kid related DVDs and I've watched them all too many times the past few weeks. TV is limited to three channels one of which is so fuzzy and snowy that you'll get dizzy if you watch it too long.
So enough with the complaining. I'm going to the great white north (OK, not Canada, but close enough) next week to relax at the parent's cottage and hopefully see some pre-4th of July fireworks. I love me some fireworks.
Other then that, I've been busting it at work, trying to put stuff away and organize the boxes from the move, and just attempting to stay on top of all the piddly errands and to do type of chores. Of course there have been family obligations thrown in on most of the weekends, including brother in law's marriage to fatal attraction lady.
So much to tell, so little time.......
