The year is rapidly drawing to a close. It has been quite a ride. Some of the high and low lights include:
- selling the house
- moving twice (once into an apartment, once into another house), one of which was during unseasonably HOT weather, resulting in a nasty heat rash
- Finally living relatively close to the town in which I work.
- Alternating between the "Big Chill" or bickering with J
- C turning 4
- turning 35
- Finally getting a non-dial up internet connection (so I can download all of my porn - totally kidding on that! My hard drive is about ready to explode so even if that were true I would be out of luck.)
- BIL got married
- Moving to a "window" cube at work (OK - not a major highlight, as I really have to strain my head to see out the window, but it just happened, so it is fresh in my mind.)
- I remain totally unmoved by the break up of Brittany Spears and Kevin Federline, slightly nostaligic about the death of former President Ford, ambivilent about the Rumsfeld "resignation," and slightly nauseated about the Tom Cruise/Katie Holmes marriage
- got back in touch with an old friend
- not meeting my nanowrimo goal
- missing out on going to a friend's UP retreat
